We are currently searching for a Software Engineer, Sr. II to work in our Engineering group.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops requirements and specifications documents. Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

Formulates and designs software system, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.

Interfaces with marketing, customers, or other engineering staff concerning additions or modifications to existing software.

Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.

Coordinates installation of software system.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

BSCS/BSCE, BSEE or BSME with substantial coursework and training in software engineering techniques.  MSCS/MSCE, MSEE, or MSME preferred.: Minimum 10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years MFC/VisualC++, .NET

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Familiar with modern programming languages - C, C++,5+ years MFC/VisualC++, .NET, C#, and object-oriented programming/design/analysis techniques.  Knowledge of numerical analysis.  Familiar with algorithm and data structures.  Working knowledge of electronics, classical mechanics and control systems.  Ability to work independently at software module level.  Good interpersonal and communication skills.  Technical training skills.  Experience in Windows NT/2000/XP operating environment.
