Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Participate in design reviews for new electrical products

Develop product validation plans and test procedures for both board-level and systems-level

Execute board-level and system-level tests

Generate detailed test reports

Review engineering documentation for accuracy

Review block diagrams and schematics

Analyze designs for testability and provide feedback to design engineers to improve testability

Provide feedback to design engineers to improve reliability and manufacturability

Coordinate with design engineers to develop functional test fixtures

Interface with hardware, software and manufacturing engineers to review failure information to identify possible solutions

Qualifications

Detailed knowledge of test methodologies for board-level and system-level. Experience with reviewing designs for testability and manufacturability. Experience in developing and executing validation plans and test procedures. Knowledge of board-level automated functional testing and validation. Familiarity with VHDL, JTAG, servo systems, and PCB design/layout/fabrication would be considered pluses. Ability to work independently.  Project management skills.  Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Education and/or Experience

BS degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering; Minimum 10 years of related test experience.
